Phone: Apple iPhone 3Gs 32Gb
Provider: Telus
Default What Do You Think Of This Plan?

Here is my plan, let me know your thoughts and let me know if I am missing anything.

Going to Telus to sign up for the iPhone 3Gs 32GB for $0.00/3year term. Get the
phone
, and the $50.00/month plan with some freebies if I can get some as I have been without a contract on my CDMA phone since August, 2009. Then when the new generation iPhone comes out, I will purchase it from Apple (no restrictions), sell my iPod Touch for $300.00, and sell the Telus Iphone, which should almost cover the cost of the new iPhone.

I am taking a guess that I can get close to $600.00 for the current generation
">iPhone
if I sell it when the new one comes out. Then I have an unrestricted iPhone, newest model on what is left of my 36 month commitment. By the time that expires the new cell companies such as WIND should have some good plans that I can take advantage of and give them a try. What do you think?

Phone: iPhone 3GS 16GB White / iPhone 3G 8GB Black (Broken) / Sony Ericsson w580i (Sold)
Provider: Telus Rogers Wireless (No Longer!)
Default

Of course do it. You're getting the iPhone 32GB 3GS for 0$. Even after a months of service and you planned on cancelling your contract out. You only spent about 770$ on the phone. (I know it's only 29$ you're saving but whatever).

But when you sell the 3GS for the new iPhone, that itself should cover the costs. That taking into consideration if the 3GS will be unlockable with firmware 4.0 or whatever comes out.
