Tell me about it. The on I was playing around with was like $180! Then add exchange into the mix and it's like 2 bills! Plus they don't ship to Canada so I'd have to have it shipped to Washington and drive down. It's a cool concept, but prices are insane like you said.

for me. to have such a unique phone like that 2 bills is worth it to me.but where my issue arises is that 1. it voids the warranty if something goes wrong with the unit and now i have to pay for repairs myself. and if for some crazy luck i can still get it replaced i will need to spend another 2 bills to do the same to my replacement!

My problem is that I don't have the same phone for more than 6 months, so it'd be a waste of money. But I would love to have something like that done to a future blackberry.

As for the warranty, you could order another housing from cnn.cn, and have them paint that in place of your original, and just swap them if you have to send it in.

I mean...if you really need that unique look.
