I'd like to have an ipad, for a week, just to get it out of my system. Then i'll get frustrated and get back on this thing we call a laptop. |

I have both, and honestly, most things I can do just fine with the ipad. (and for what I can't there the logmein app) Look how far the iPhone has come in 3 years. Just imagine what this thing will be like in 3 years. The one thing I am glad is I have my unlimited data plan for iPad and I can keep that as long as I want. Unlimited data is gonna be hard to come by in the future me thinks.
Last I heard the slate was killed, apparently it ran W7 like shit...what a surprise? Putting a desktop OS on a mobile device is just a recipe for disaster. I found it really interesting when I heard that the iPad was actually invented before the iPhone, but the iPhone allowed them to build this base of users who already know how to use this tablet. Very good plan IMO. Last edited by Pyrofallout; 07-17-2010 at 02:51 AM. |

Would like for the other companies to get on the ball and start pumping out some pads. I know there's lots out there, but something mainstream and -out in the open- with the ipad would be nice.

I have one, but I would trade it in on a Android based tablet in a heart beat. I do enjoy my ipad. It has come in handy at work many times. I do regret only getting the wifi version. When I bough it, I figured I would be ok just using a near by wifi hot spot. I was wrong. As soon as I finish my project of putting an HTC Eris on Boost Mobile CDMA network, I will have a decent EVOD network speeds to wifi tether with.

Debated between 64gb iPad or new 11.6' Macbook Air. I went with the Air. Very happy I did. I don't need a 10' iPhone.

Even i opted for Android mobile and i am pretty happy with it. I found it bit costly initially but when i used it i found it as value for money. I am using it from last 4 months and have not faced any issue till now.
