Default All but given up, until

So due to all of Telus's horrible ideas in the last year within regard to policy change.

Bumping data removal back to $200
In creasing air card plans and data plan
Launching HSPA (in my area the signal conflicts with CDMA and now the CDMA coverage has gone down hill)

So the other day I received a Letter in the mail Telling me about this unbelievable Bell deal. So Looking it over:

250 Mins
Nights weekends at 6pm
Caller ID, Voice Mail
Unlimited Text
Free Incoming
8 cent LD
$22 a month with no SAF
$24.96 w/Tax
(I have a web link if someone wants it, Just PM)

So I figured that with only 13 months left on my plan it might be worth it to switch. So I called up Telus just out of curiosity to see what they'd offer.

300 daytime mins
night and weekend at 6pm
Caller ID, Voice Mail
100 LD Mins
Unlimited Text
Free Incoming
$15 Unlimited Data(I Already had this)

So in total I'm looking $40 + Tax a month now.

I didn't have to renew and the 2 girls I spoke to were very nice. I was actually surprised Telus would even try and match it with the reputation they've earn thereselves lately, let alone beat the Bell deal.

Good to see their are still a few reps left willing to bend the rules for a long term client.

Can you check your mytelusmobility page. From what I read and seen, all unlimited data plans have been increased by $5 starting March 4th, 2010. Check to see what your data plan is listed as on your account.

Can they just increase your data plan by 5 bucks and not even tell you?
If your on a contract, isn't that grounds to break it without have to pay an early termination fee???

Wow...that plan is amazing.
Yeah, I thought Telus would be holding back on matching plans especially with all the horror stories I've heard. I guess they are still listening
