Blackberry gives a heads up on the Blackberry 9650
Blackberry yesterday teased the soon to be launched Blackberry 9650 which is replacing the current Blackberry Tour 9630. The Blackberry 9650 is an updated version of the Tour with two key hardware changes. The new Tour will have Wi-Fi and trackpad. A quite little update on their Facebook page that was soon to be never found again was captured by the good folks at Crackberry.com. The status update stated “The BlackBerry Tour 9650 is coming! Check back soon for official news!” We knew this was coming in Q1 of 2010 and with status update it only confirms it. So hopefully we should be seeing an official announcement within the next couple weeks. It is expected that Telus and Bell in Canada and Sprint and Verizon pick this unit up in Canada. Anyone looking to through their current Blackberry Tour 9630 out the window for this bad boy?
Thanks to BGR for the pictures of the device and to Crackberry.com for the Facebook Status screen shot.
